Precision Air Convey (PAC) has received certification for eco-friendly manufacturing practices as part of the Label Initiative for the Environment (LIFE) program created by the Tag and Label Manufacturers Institute (TLMI). The LIFE program is an industry-supported program intended to improve the environmental profile of companies working in the narrow web printing and converting industry.

“Our company has always been committed to addressing environmental issues,” says Tom Embley, CEO and president of Precision AirConvey. “The LIFE certification is a stringent and rigorous audited process. We want our customers to know that an objective third party has reviewed our manufacturing and certified us as a ‘green’ solution for this business sector.”

In 2009, TLMI introduced its LIFE program to its converter and supplier members. The program was developed in order to assist the association’s members with finding cost effective ways to reduce their company’s environmental footprint.
